Today this designs are manufactured in France with the unique technique and by a group of a persons how was working with Catherine for more than 10 years. A youthful and sporty look. Jean Marlaix saw an opportumity. At the time , all handbags were essentially the same: conservative with a flap and gold fastener. He thought women would also enjoy having handbags that complimented their feminity, that gave them a more youthful and sporty look. He launched LA BAGAGERIE. The first boutique was opened in 1954 on the Champs Elysees. His casula hip designs, playful colours and supple fabrics proved to the highly popular. Word of mouth spread. They were soon discovered by the fashion press, photographed for Vogue and other leading fashion magazines and know throughout Paris. LA BAGAGERIE became the bag "to have" for stylish women, both anonymous as well as celebrities. Entre Temps is proud to be the distributor for this well know designer.
